Latex Printing Display Fabric 230gsm is knitted polyester fabric optimized for dye sublimation, UV and Latex printing, offering excellent color consistency and definition. This stretch fabric is specially weaved with a decent amount of opacity to completely cover the vision of support structure. With very soft hand and crease-resistant feature, Latex Printing Display Fabric 230gsm is ideal for folded shipments with low cost in transport and handling. This fabric has slight stretch, making it very easy to sew and install in dispaly frame systems. With fire retardant US NFPA 701 and German B1, Latex Printing Display Fabric 230gsm is ideal for frontlit display uses in retail, tradeshow, events.

What is Dye-Sublimation?

Dye-Sublimation is a printing technology which “Dyes” polyester fabric by transforming the inks into a heat-activated gas which bonds with the “Fibers”. This results in a brilliant finish with a wide photographic gamut.

1.   Transfer paper is fed into printing press to be printed

2.   Dispersed dyes are printed onto the transfer paper

3.   Low-temperature heat dries the ink onto the transfer paper and is taken up on a roll to be placed onto the transfer press

4.   Printed transfer paper is loaded onto the transfer press and fed into the machine

5.   Polyester Fabric is fed into the transfer press

6.   Heat and pressure is applied to the transfer paper and fabric – This is where the dyes are transformed into vapor

7.   and infused into the fabric

8.   The Dye-Sublimated Fabric is taken up on a roll

9.   Used transfer paper is collected

10.    Tissue paper is fed into the machine to protect the belt
